The time it takes to obtain a U.S. visa varies drastically depending on the type of visa applied for.

Cases are generally processed in the order they are received. USCIS processing times vary significantly depending on the form type. LATINIDAD can help you understand estimated processing times.

Parents, spouses (you can apply for your spouse at age 18 or older), sons and daughters (under 21 or over 21, married or single), adopted children under 16, and siblings.

Wife (or) (can apply for spouse at age 18 or later), unmarried children (under 21 years of age), unmarried adult sons and daughters (over 21 years of age).

It is recommended to submit the DACA renewal application between 120 and 150 days before the expiration date of the current DACA.

The temporary resident card to remove the residence conditions must be replaced within 90 days prior to its expiry.

You must apply for renewal if you have a card valid for 10 years that has already expired or will expire within the next 6 months.

To apply for U.S. citizenship (naturalization), you must be at least 18 years old, be a legal permanent resident for 5 years or 3 years if married to a citizen, demonstrate good moral character, pass the civics test, among other requirements.

Your child can be a U.S. citizen at birth if they meet all the eligibility requirements, for example, that the U.S. parent has been physically present in the United States for a certain number of years.
